The revolutionary Acuter Luma -X 40ED offers a remarkable level of specification and performance at an affordable price and features groundbreaking innovations available for the first time worldwide, such as a square telescope tube design and an exclusive switchable zenith mirror design, which allows it to be switched from an H-Alpha protuberance telescope to a white-light solar telescope for observing sunspots. The telescope features an ED glass element that enhances sharpness and contrast, as well as improving colour fidelity and detail reproduction.
The Acuter Luma-X 40ED is a safe solar telescope equipped with a 40mm front-end Etalon with a half-width of 0.6 angstroms or better, designed for observing active solar prominences and other details on the Sun’s surface in the H-alpha band.

The 8mm blocking filter in the removable zenith mirror is part of the Luma-X 40ED safety kit. Never use the telescope with a different zenith mirror for solar observation.
