Altair Astro Premium 1.25" luminance UVIR CCD filter with anti-reflection coating The Altair Astro Premium Luminance UV/IR cut filter is designed for imaging with mono or colour CCD and CMOS cameras.
Ideal for for colour or monochrome planetary imaging, colour or mono deep sky long exposures, and video astronomy. Also eliminates UV and IR light causing soft images in microscopy imaging.
Advanced UV/IR blocking coatings give small star sizes even with refractor optics, and anti-reflection coatings reduce halo effects and internal reflections for more pleasing star images.
The luminance UV/IR cut filter is carefully matched to the Altair RGB and narrowband filters, with minimal overlap and a tight fit within the transmission ranges. This can be seen from the spectral graph and results in pure colours with maximum efficiency.
