The APM 2 "filter holder for 50mm binoculars is a very useful accessory for sky observation. With these accessories, 2" nebula filters can be easily attached to our APM binoculars. The benefits are clearly visible: Increase in object contrast when using LPR filters (UHC, UHC-E, Deep-Sky Filter, etc.), e.g. from close proximity to cities, detection of weak objects through the use of visual narrow-band filters (H-beta, O-3 ).
Our 50mm APM binoculars have an M55x0.75 -H6 female thread on the front lens. The adapter can be screwed into the thread. Normal 2 "filters (48mm thread) can be used, two adapters are required for binoculars.
