The APM fork mount is the result of extensive practical use. Its optimal, smooth tracking movements, combined with low vibration and high load-bearing capacity, are unrivalled.

Thanks to the unique design of its fork, the APM fork mount allows for unrestricted panning right up to the zenith. This makes it perfectly suited to both astronomy and nature observation. In this version, the AMT encoders (for Nexus DSC) are already fitted. The Nexus controller is available as an optional extra. This allows objects to be tracked directly using compatible software (smartphone, tablet, etc.).

The swivel bearing (base) is designed as a dry bearing, making it very easy to remove the fork. Without the swivel bearing and with the encoders fitted, it weighs just 6.0 kg. Furthermore, the base can be easily mounted on a tripod.

The inner distance between the fork arms is 28 cm on the inside and approximately 36 cm on the outside. This fork mount is suitable for our large binoculars with 100 mm and 120 mm objective lenses, as well as the 28x110 large binoculars.
