                                      The 10 "observatory class!

Our Apo 254/2250 CNC-LW II is not just in a size class, but in a class of its own. With f / 8.85, it is still quite "compact". The dimensions are enormous: the tube alone has a diameter of 300mm and a length of over 2.5 meters. The 3.5 "FeatherTouch Focuser looks almost thin on the tube, although it is also huge. Even a 4-inch guide scope is hardly noticeable ;-).

With a surface area of ??over 500cm2, this lens already offers almost 3x as much light gathering power as a 150mm lens. The resolution of 0.45 "is sufficient to fully utilize even the most modern image sensors, even with excellent seeing!

With a visual limit size of 13m8 and a maximum sensible magnification of 500x, you can also observe and analyze very demanding objects. The high-contrast optics offer enough scope for detailed perception at the highest level. These optics can also be used excellently for analysis methods such as astrometric and photometric measurements. It is therefore predestined as an operational device at institutes, observatories and in the semi-professional area.

This exclusive 10 "apo system is produced individually for you. You have full freedom of design for the tube, focuser and external adjustments such as back focus and accessory connections / adapters. We calculate the diaphragm system exactly according to your specifications for field diameter and distance to the focal plane. Custom-made products such as Coudé tubes can of course be realized!

The weight of the tube is approx. 45kg, depending on the configuration. With an elongated tube, the mount should already belong to the upper class in order to be able to work with low vibration.

In addition to the large 3.5 "FeatherTouch focuser, all the important reducing adapters, sleeves and the viewfinder holder are already integrated in order to conveniently connect both photographic and visual accessories. Multi-compatible pipe clamps are standard, a sturdy transport box is optionally available. We coordinate the primary data and optional components closely with you!
