APM - LZOS Apo 304/3600 CNC- LW II

The greatest amateur apo in the world!

This long focal length version with the optics data 304mm f / 11.85 (3600mm) caused a stir because it is the world's largest apochromatic amateur optics. A dream of every planetary watcher!

The focal ratio of f/11.85 is chosen so that a maximum of chromatic and spherical correction could be achieved in the system. The chromatic aberration ranges from near UV (approx. 450nm) to long red (approx. 700nm) within the Airy Disk. This guarantees excellent contrast values, both visually and photographically. Technologically, this lens is very demanding, which also explains the extended delivery time of up to 2 years. Since our specifications are very high for both glasses and polish, it takes time to create your perfect apo.

If you have your focus of observation on planets and small objects, you should use this variant. In the context of many research projects and survey collaborations, these large APM apos are used to detect the smallest changes in our neighboring planet at maximum magnification (here 600x visual). Participation in serious surveillance work is also possible for the amateur with our large apochromats! Critical applications such as photometry and detailed evaluations of solar processes are also conceivable.
