This long focal length version with the optical data 304mm f/11.85 (3600mm) caused quite a stir as it is the world's largest amateur apochromatic optic.

A dream of every planet observer! The aperture ratio of f/11.85 is selected in such a way that a maximum of chromatic and spherical correction can be achieved in the system. The chromatic aberration lies within the Airy Disk from the near UV (approx. 450nm) to the long red (approx. 700nm). This guarantees excellent contrast values, both visually and photographically.

Technologically, this lens is very sophisticated, which also explains the extended delivery time of up to 2 years. Since our specifications for both lenses and polish are very high, it takes time to create your perfect apo.

If you focus your observations on planets and small objects, you should use this variant. As part of many research projects and survey cooperations, these large APM apos are used to detect the smallest changes on our neighboring planets at maximum magnification (here 600x visually).

Participation in serious surveillance work is also possible for the amateur with our large apochromats! Critical applications such as photometry and detailed evaluations of solar processes are also conceivable.
