We were able to further optimize the design of the successful 175mm system. The aim was to meet customer requests for a larger field diameter while maintaining the same performance data. The result: 180mm with a significantly reduced focal length. With f/7.0 it is an exceptionally powerful device that is currently unrivaled!
5mm more aperture doesn't sound like much, but brings over 5% more light collecting surface. The resolution of less than 0.7" is very interesting, it is also possible to separate very difficult double stars. This resolution gives you a breathtaking detail view of the moon and planets, especially binocular! This 7-inch telescope can be called the ultimate "planet-killer". Due to the shortened focal length, an aperture ratio of f/5.25 can be achieved with our Riccardi reducer. Perfect for breathtaking astrophotos!
With this Apo you can rely on exceptional performance data that will give you unforgettable hours! Due to the full, customer-optimized adaptation of the tube, e.g. Binocular attachments or larger solar observation equipment are no problem at all! Planets are an absolute pleasure, solar observation is possible on an extreme level! Of course, semi-professional work is also possible in photography!
