                                       100 mm astrograph

The dew cap and the main tube are made of Kruppax 50, all other parts are made of high quality aluminum, CNC turned or milled. Tube and dew cap are painted with RAL 9001 cream white, the aluminum parts are painted black. The dew cap is screwed to shorten the transport length, can be moved and ends in the front area with an inner panel which effectively suppresses dew in the optics over a longer period of time.

The 3.5 "focuser works with a high-precision rack, which is built in adjustable with the drive pinion and can be rotated through 360 ° with absolutely no play. The play-free rotation option is especially important in photography to first set the focus and then to determine the best section by rotating .

The 50 mm viewfinder holder is attached to the extension itself with a quick-change device that is so precisely worked that the viewfinder remains constantly adjusted even after repeated changes.

The extension ends with a reducing adapter 3 "-2" with clamping ring and an adapter 2 "-1.25" with brass clamping ring. The complete extension with viewfinder holder can also be rotated through 360 °, so that the viewfinder is always brought into the most comfortable position for you, the attached and focused small or medium format camera can always be rotated to the desired position, but also so that you can attach your star diagonal with eyepieces You don't have to change the sky position, just turn the extension. The rotation and the focusing drive can be clamped using a hand screw.

The pipe clamps are made of black powder-coated, CNC machined aluminum and come with a flat base, a central thread 1 / 4-20 "and 2 outer threads 1 / 4-20" with 60 mm hole spacing (Astrophysics standard).

The TMB 100 F / 8 is not only a wonderful, powerful visual apo for observations at low magnifications and planets and binary stars at high magnification with the highest contrast, but also an excellent astrograph with the Riccardi Reducer reduced to f / 6). This system with the specially supplied reducer generates a fully illuminated and corrected field for full-format CCDs and generates pin-fine star images right into the corners, even with the latest larger CCDs.

With the Riccardi Reducer M82 the focal length is reduced to 600m, whereby the aperture ratio is reduced from f / 8 to f / 6. The fully corrected image circle is 52mm.
