This small telescope is primarily intended as a guide scope for autoguiding. But it can also be used as a viewfinder or mini telescope. I.e. ogether with the M-Gen, the Image Master becomes an autoguider. If you use crosshair eyepieces, the result is a perfect viewfinder. With a normal eyepiece you get a nice small telescope.
Focusing is done using a precise helical focuser with a millimeter scale and 8mm focus path. The back focus is a maximum of 20mm.
