Here we use a new optic of the APM SuperED FPL 53 APO series, which we have manufactured in Japan, which is very harmoniously matched in terms of visual and photographic application. The quality of the new optics is on an extra high level, not only the color correction is nearly perfect, also the spherical correction is on the level of other Edelapo refractors.
The focal length of about 910mm is chosen very universally, with our 0.75x Riccardi reducer a CCD friendly focal length of about 637mm with a focal ratio of F/5.25 can be achieved. For those who love planetary details, there are high quality Barlow systems to choose from, also solar observing is a pleasure with the appropriate accessories. Here, too, the Apo shows its full class in definition and contrast.
The instrument comes standard with 3.7" ZTA focuser (1:10 micro-reduced, 360° rotatable) as well as finder shoe, Losmandy Like mounting rail and 2" - 1.25" connection adapter and case in our high quality APM-LZOS tube. The system is "ready to work". M63 and M68 female threads are also available.
With 9,9 kg final weight a still quite light transportable travel apo !
