A first-class replacement for our well-known LZOS 105 F/6.2 Apo is this new 106mm system with a focal length of 700mm ( F/6.6). Here, too, optics from the APM SuperED FPL 53 APO series are used, which are very harmoniously matched in terms of visual and photographic application.The focal length of 700mm is very universal, with our 0.75x Riccardi reducer a CCD-friendly focal length of approx. 525mm (F/4.95) can be achieved. For those who love planetary details, there is a choice of high-quality Barlow systems, and solar observation is also a pleasure with the appropriate accessories. Here, too, the Apo shows its full class in terms of definition and contrast.
An 80mm extension tube is required for visual observations with a 2" star diagonal mirror. This is included in the scope of delivery.
The device comes as standard with a 2.5" ZTA focuser (1:10 micro-reduced, 360° rotatable) as well as tube clamps with Vixen level mounting rail and 2" - 1.25" connection adapter. The system is "ready to work". M63 and M68 internal threads are also available.
With a final weight of only 5.3 kg, nothing stands in the way of an astro safari!
