Despite their compact dimensions, our APM MS 8x32IF ED binoculars are a very powerful, modern and versatile device. We have developed it according to the strict specifications of our MS series, and the result is something to be proud of! An ultra-modern optical system with optimized viewing characteristics and maximum contrast in a robust housing. ED lenses from Hoya (FCD1) have been installed in the binoculars, which reduce chromatic aberration to an absolute minimum and therefore provide an outstanding image free of chromatic aberration. The modern FMC-coated optics are complemented by a high-quality BAK-4 prism system and offer excellent transmission combined with a natural, high-contrast, almost perfectly reflex-free image. It goes without saying that the glass is splash-proof. The field correction is carried out without flat field lenses. The housing is fitted with leather armoring to protect the glass and provide a secure grip. With a field of view of 8.2°, these binoculars offer an impressive wide-angle view. With the eyecups turned upside down, the binoculars are completely suitable for spectacle wearers and the entire field of view is visible right to the edge without any problems. APM Ceramic Safety 2" Herschelprism with APM Fast-Lock Eyepiece Adapter.For solar white light imaging and white light visual observing. The APM White Light Wedge comes with a built in ND3 filter which allows perfectly safe imaging or visual observing of the Sun. The APM Herschel prism is equipped with the ceramic light trap, an multicoated integrated multicoated ND3 filter and (removable) multicoated polarizing filter. The sun can be safely observed with the APM Herschel Prism.The image brightness can be adjusted by twisting of the 2 "polarizing filter by rotating the 2" eyepieceholder from outside . Thus, the Herschel Prism can be used both visually and also photographically same good!
