The 0.74× reducer was developed specifically for the Askar 131F and reduces the focal ratio to a fast f/5.5. This shortens exposure times while providing a wider field of view for extensive celestial objects.
The built-in field correction ensures excellent star resolution from the center all the way to the edges of the image. This makes the reducer ideal for large nebulae, star fields, star clusters, and faint deep-sky objects.
The high-quality triplet design supports a 44-mm image circle, making it suitable for full-frame cameras. The working distance is 55 mm from the M48 thread. M72×1 threads on both ends ensure a stable and precise connection.
The compatible photographic extension ring for the 131F includes M54×0.75 and M48×0.75 adapters and allows for easy connection to the reducer. The rear adapter ring also features an M48×0.75 filter thread for 2" filters. The extension rings are included with the 131F apo.
The precision-machined, CNC-manufactured body offers high stability and a precise fit. Metal threaded caps for the front and rear reliably protect the optics from dust when the reducer is not in use.
