The project was launched in 2011, conceived by Stefano Seveso, founder of Artesky, and developed with engineer Flavio Simeone. It was designed specifically for demanding astrophotographers seeking stable collimation, exceptional optical quality, and consistent imaging performance.

ARTEC 200EZ – High-End Design for Harmonic Mounts
The ARTEC 200EZ is a 200mm Newtonian astrograph that serves as the perfect introduction to the ARTEC lineup. It is a premium-grade telescope, entirely manufactured in Italy by skilled technicians with meticulous attention to every detail.
Weighing only 10.8 kg, the ARTEC 200EZ is fully optimized for use with harmonic mounts, such as the ZWO AM5, even without counterweights.
