As our dust cap fits 100% perfectly, it can also be used safely in shutdown mode. This ensures that your lens is always protected from dust and dirt. In shutdown mode, the camera is switched off and the lens is no longer in use. In this state, the lens is particularly vulnerable to dust and dirt, as it is no longer protected by the airflow from the camera. A perfectly fitting dust cap offers the best protection in this situation.
