Alt-azimuthal mounts are mainly used for visual observation, e.g. with large binoculars. The latest technology also enables precise tracking in both axes and GoTo capability. These mounts therefore are also suitable for most telescopes.

The APM XXL AzMaxLoad mount was designed in response to requests from many customers for a very large, stable and extremely robust alt-azimuth mount.
