The adapter allows for connecting 1.25" accessories, like photo adapters or eyepieces, to the T2-thread and provides very precise focusing, so you can focus your eyepiece or your camera very accurately. THis adapter is very helpful especially for lunar and planetary photography, but also for observing. When the desired position has been reached, you can lock it with a knurled screw.
The eyepiece or connection adapter is gently and safely clamped via three knurled screws and a brass compression ring.
