This finder shoe accommodates standard finders from SkyWatcher, Lacerta, and others, allowing a wide variety of (inexpensive) finders and guidescopes to be used with Takahashi telescopes.

It fits all Takahashi refractors, from the FS-60 to the TOA-150, as well as the Epsilon devices. It cannot be used with the μ series, as these devices have an integrated finder (except for the μ-300).

Takahashi uses two M5 screws with a 28 mm spacing to mount finders; this clamp is designed for Allen cylinder head screws. There is also an additional hole in the middle for M6 or 1/4" screws, so this finder shoe can also be mounted on Takahashi top plates or other devices. The viewfinder is securely clamped in place using two metal knurled screws.
