This short adapter is required wherever an M63 internal thread is connected with an adapter or photographic accessories with an M48x0.75 threaded connection. In addition, a 2 "filter can be integrated into the system, a suitable filter thread is available on the telescope side.
TS Optics 0.8x full-frame corrector for f/8 RC telescopes with M68x1 connection
This reducer offers a complete correction of the image field of RC telescopes with reduction of the focal length to 80% at the same time. Pure focal reducers reduce the focal length without correcting the image field. The result is an aberration (astigmatism) in the corners. The larger the sensor, the more pronounced the aberration.
The reducer is designed especially for the image field of f/8 RC telescopes, thus it eliminates the aberrations entirely. The results are sharper, pinpoint stars and easier focusing.
Adaption to the telescope
You have two possibilities of adapting to the RC telescope. You can thread the corrector to the focuser or countersink it into the drawtube if you have less than 135 mm working distance.
Adaption via the female M68x1 thread at the telescope side
Via suitable adapters, you can attach the corrector to any focusers from 2.5" upwards. You just have to provide the focuser with a male M68x1 thread at the camera side. Please note that you need at least 135 mm working distance from the male thread.
Adaption with countersinking the corrector into the drawtube at the same time
If there is less backfocus, we recommend countersinking the corrector into the drawtube. Thus the necessary backfocus is reduced to less than 100 mm. There are suitable adapters for example the adapter TSO-M78a-M68a for focusers with the female M78x1 .
Adapting the camera
The working distance from the male M68x1 thread at the camera side is 82 mm, thus you have enough space for individual adaptions or accessories like off-axis guiders. The male thread is not taken into account for the working distance, as it disappears into the connection adapter.

The Skywatcher 0.85x focal reducer / field flattener has been designed for astronomers who want to use the renown ED Apo for astro photography. The flattener reduces the telescope's focal length by the factor of 0.85 and increases the useful field. As a positive side effect, the necessary integration times are significantly reduced. The field curvature that is unavoidable at most telescope systems is reduced to a nearly irrelevant level when using sensors up to APS-C format (24x16mm).

0.77X REDUCER/FLATTENER FOR ESPRIT-150ED TRIPLET
Designed specifically for the Sky-Watcher Esprit-150 ED Apo Refractor, the new three-lens Focal Reducer/Flattener has a reduction factor of 0.77x. It comes with a standard adaptor with M48 thread edge and 55mm back focus for use with Sky-Watcher's M48 Canon EOS (code 20237) and Nikon (code 20238) adaptor rings. After removing the adaptor, an M71x1 internal thread with maximum 75mm back focus is available for self-made adaptor solutions. The Reducer/Flattener produces a fully illuminated and corrected image circle of 34mm diameter and is therefore perfectly suitable for image formats up to APS-C but can also be used for full format.

With the TSFLAT2, a professional field corrector for apochromats, EDs and normal Fraunhofer achromats is available to the astrophotographer. The corrector is suitable for refractors from f/4 to f/9.

An underrun or an overrun of the distance of up to 5% has no visible effect on the sharpness in the field of sensors with formats up to APS-C. With larger sensors, the tolerance is reduced to 1-2%.
