Corrective optics are a very important component, especially in astrophotography. They turn almost every refractor, Newtonian or other telescope into an astrograph. They flatten the image field, shorten the focal length or correct system-related image errors.
The 4" corrector and reducer is designed for the large 180mm f/7 Triplet APO and allows astrophotography with full frame cameras at the highest level.
- Improves the focal ratio from f/7 to f/5.6 and reduces the focal length of the apo to 1008 mm
- Full illumination and correction up to full frame
- Working distance is 55 mm from the M48 connection thread
- The corrector is screwed to the focuser of the apo

This Reducer Flattener is designed to take the optical performance of your telescope to a new level. With a reduction factor of X0.8 and an outstanding flattener function, it minimizes distortions and aberrations that can occur during observation and photography.
The 0.8x Flattener corrector from William Optics is optimized for full-frame format and suitable for all apos from 102mm aperture with large extensions.
