THE NEW MODULAR REPORT TRIPOD SYSTEM The light magnesium mounting head serves as module basis for 10 different inserts. The module insert can be changed at all times using a special wrench (included in the delivery of the changing module). The fixation in the cone ensures a positive-locking, clearance-free connection of the components. Thanks to the new stop system, it is possible to set angles of spread at approx. 20°, 40°, 60°, 80° and 100° by means of a wing catch. The stop system is designed in such a way that the specified loads of the tripods are also guaranteed at a maximum inclination of the tripod legs. The tripod Report 232/P is equipped with the module insert 3/P, i.e. with a permanently installed levelling ball, a diameter of 55 mm ,spirit level and an integr. panorama plate. This enables a quick and precise adjustment of the tripod. The pivoting range is 30° in all directions. The fastening screw is spring-loaded. The 2-way panhead optimised for observation is completely integrated in the binocular support. This compactness guarantees maximum stability. The rubber cork-covered support surface to the binoculars is twice 100 x 65 mm and can be perfectly adjusted by simple adjustment by means of a knurled wheel in the range from 30° (for binoculars) to -15° (for monoculars).
