With the APO-Televid 82 W, Leica Camera has launched a spotting scope that stands out for its outstanding optical and mechanical quality. The compact and robust magnesium body with its comfortable rubber armouring makes the instrument resistant to shocks. Splash water and dirt are repelled by the AquaDura coating. And the four-part fluoride lens system ensures brilliance and colour fidelity.
The APO Televid 82 W offers a high-contrast, sharp image across the entire field of view and at all magnifications. The 82 mm objective lens diameter gives the spotting scope a high light intensity, making it suitable for use even in difficult lighting conditions and at dusk.
The dual focusing mechanism enables very precise focusing. The close focus range is only 3.8 m. The angled eyepiece ensures fatigue-free and relaxed observation over long periods. Ornithologists in particular appreciate these features.
The Vario-Okular 25-50x WW ASPH has a magnification range of 25 to 50x and a wide-angle viewing range for an extremely large field of view of 74 degrees at 50x magnification. Its aspherical lenses ensure extremely high edge sharpness. Like the spotting scope body, the eyepiece is waterproof to a depth of 5 metres and its nitrogen filling prevents fogging.
