Tecnosky Cubo altazimuth mount Tecnosky presents a small altazimuth mount made in Italy. The Tecnosky Cubo takes its cue from the eLLe and uses the same friction system; there are a total of 3 ball bearings and 2 radial roller bearings that always guarantee smooth and play-free movements. The friction system allows you to adjust the hardness of the movement up to block it if necessary. The mount can be mounted on sturdy photographic tripods or on astronomy tripods (type EQ5/HEQ5), but only combined with the Tecnosky half column or a suitable adapter. The maximum load depends very much on the type of tube mounted and the tripod used. On photographic tripods we recommend not to go beyond 5/6 kg while on a tripod for astronomy you can reach 8/9 kg with compact tubes. Included is a steel bar (diameter 20 mm) to balance the heavier tubes. Above the head there are 2 holes to accommodate eyepieces with 1.25" (31.8 mm) barrel. Note: The mount requires a Vixen or Losmandy clamp, there are 2 holes with M6 pitch and 35 mm center distance (compatible with Tecnosky and Geoptik clamps).
