The OCAL Collimator Version 4.0 is a further development of the popular OCAL V3.0, OCAL PRO and 3.0 MAX collimators. The accuracy of the devices has been further improved. Thanks to enhanced optics and state-of-the-art manufacturing processes, the OCAL V4.0 now covers all focal lengths. In addition, we have managed to launch the OCAL 4.0 at a slightly lower price.

• The new Version 4.0 of the OCAL collimator uses a larger front lens and a CMOS sensor. The new sensor is significantly more light-sensitive and has smaller pixels. This allows for adjustment even in darker conditions. If the image is too bright, you can reduce the brightness by adjusting the gain and exposure time.
• Resolution and imaging performance have been further improved compared to all previous models.
• Unlike the earliest previous versions, the OCAL V4.0 features a decoupled, industrial-grade camera module. This camera module is no longer connected to the circuit board. A completely new manufacturing technique allows this module to be fitted into the OCAL MAX housing with the utmost precision. The tolerance during assembly is just 0.05 mm!
• The improved optics of the OCAL Version 4.0 ensure that critical areas can now be brought into focus even more effectively.
• The central area around the OCAL’s lens is now easier to distinguish from the background. This enables precise adjustment even under difficult conditions, such as when a centre mark obscures the lens. To this end, an additional black ring has now been fitted inside the housing specifically for this purpose.
• The clarity of the image has been significantly improved. Particularly when a corrector is attached, the image quality is now considerably better than on previous models.
