ASI T2-Tilter - Tilt flange Adjustment of image plane and sensor position Many astrophotographers know the problem: You focus as good as possible and in 1-2 corners the sharpness is still not satisfying. The result is a bad compromise, by changing the sharpness setting until the stars appear relatively evenly "sharp" or by simply cutting away the corner. Some possible causes of this problem: ♦ a slight tilt of the camera sensor (only a few fractions of a millimeter are enough) ♦ a tilt of the focuser ♦ a slight tilt of the field plane of the telescope (very common with Newtonian telescopes) ♦ a tilting of the eyepiece-side accessories during clamping This is the solution: With the ASI T2 tilter you simply adjust the chip of the camera to the field of the telescope, no matter where the cause of the tilt comes from. You only have to keep the orientation of the whole adapters, correctors and camera. Connecting the camera to the tilter: In principle, any suitable camera can be connected to the tilter via the T2 thread. However, additional bores also allow the connection directly to the camera body on the following ZWO cameras: ♦ ASI294/ASI1600/ASI183/ASI533 Pro cooled ♦ ASI294/ASI1600/ASI183/ASI174 uncooled With the ASI071 and ASI 2600 Pro the housing is differently dimensioned, the direct connection does not work. There it only works via the T2 thread.

TS Adapter for recessed adaptation of correctors in the focuser UNCN3M82 The TS V-Power focuser with the M82 threaded connection on the camera side accepts large correctors up to 3" body diameter. This adapter allows correctors to be connected via the M68x1 male thread on the corrector. The corrector is recessed into the draw tube, saving valuable optical path. Tilting, as is possible with clamping, is eliminated by the screw connection. On the camera side, the adapter has an M48x0.75 male thread for further adaptations. How the adapter works and what to consider: ♦ Screw the corrector into the M68x1 female thread of the adapter. ♦ Then screw the adapter with the corrector into the M82x1 female thread of the focuser. ♦ Please consider that the adapter needs 9 mm travel (length of the M68x1 female thread and overall length of the adapter) - these 9 mm must be subtracted from the working distance of the corrector. In addition, the Starpointer is also a complement to an optical viewfinder. With the illuminated viewfinder, the whole sky is at your disposal for orientation; within seconds you are in the desired area of the sky. The optical viewfinder, on the other hand, offers a smaller field of view and can be used for fine alignment. Two knurled screws allow you to align the illuminated dot finder exactly parallel to the telescope. You can switch on the illuminated dot and adjust the brightness via the rotary knob. The versatile base The Starpointer is supplied with a flexible base with two slotted holes. This makes it possible to adapt the Starpointer to all tubes from 70mm outer diameter to flat support surfaces. The spacing of the oblong holes is suitable for hole spacing from 18 to 26mm.

Special coatings on all optical surfaces eliminate disturbing reflections and ensure natural colors. With a interpupillar distance of 16mm, the eyepiece construction is good suitable for people who wear glasses. The rubber eyecups can be folded down. The entire system got the IPX-7 certification for protection against the ingress of water. The Altair 2" Solar Continuum filter Enhances sunspots, granulation, and fine photosphere detail. For use with Baader Solar Filter or Herschel Wedge. IMPORTANT SAFETY INFORMATION: DO NOT USE THIS FILTER FOR DIRECT SOLAR OBSERVATION! Must be used together with a professional solar filter or Hershel Wedge with Max. 0.024% transmission placed BEFORE this filter. For reflecting telescopes, we recommend Baader solarfilm on the front of the telescope, then screw the filter into a filter holder, camera, or eyepiece. For refractors, the filter should be positioned just in front of the camera or eyepiece with a Hershel Wedge in place. Do not use this filter without a suitable solar pre-filter in place, because it will permanently damage your eyes or camera! The Solar Contrast Booster works by filtering out UV, IR and visual wavelengths except for a narrow 8nm FHWM green band at 540nm. This greatly increases the contrast of solar features when viewed with the naked eye, colour or mono camera, revealing more detail around sunspots and granulation (fast-developing solar convection cells) in the solar photosphere. The Altair 395nm NUV filter selectively passes light of the two main Calcium wavelengths emitted by the sun: CA-K line at 393.37nm, and the CA-H line at 396.85nm. A specially developed multilayer interference coating results in transmission of approximately 75% at 395nm NUV wavelength. Bandwidth is approximately 7nm (FHWM), resulting in extremely high contrast in the selected wavelength with efficient blocking of unwanted wavelengths. Remaining UV and IR light between 400-1100nm is blocked at OD3 0.1%, and visible light between 400-700nm at OD4 0.01%. Imaging the sun: The filter is to be placed in front of a high speed CMOS video camera for displaying detail in the upper solar atmosphere, at the boundary between the photosphere and the chromosphere.
