Questar 7 -1983 complete telescope +(PGIII) package; Offering a 1983 Questar 7 fully assembled telescope (mystic purple!). Includes the following: Questar Classic tube with Cervit mirror and broadband coatings (the OTA did not have a "CV" etched in the serial number for some reason -Jim R. at Questar can't figure out why - but he has changed their records to show the correct serial numbers). Sliding dew cap . Both front and rear covers. Includes the PGIII handheld remote and an AC adapter. Includes the 3 table tripod legs which are adjustable for pole height adjustment Both hard cases with wood grain (the OTA case has new foam - but no keys, the fork base case has two keys). Includes instructions for the telescope and PGIII, paperwork from purchase and two Questar service invoices. Emails with Jim R. (Questar) regarding the OTA serial number. This package has been used! It is not in collector quality or pristine condition. Previous owners have lightly scratched the OTA and fork mount (I put self adhesive felt on the inside of the fork, you can't see it when the OTA is mounted), a mini dent on the dew cap , the base of the fork mount has a few tiny dents. The mirror looks good, the front corrector might have a few tiny coating scratches from cleaning. This telescope offers great contrast! Everything works great. The mount runs great - nice and quiet - with a 9 volt battery or the AC adapter. This telescope has received 2 x Questar service. Once in 2016 for a full check / service and again in 2017 for the PGIII upgrade. If you buy the fork mount / base new - today - this would cost about 11,000 euros. If you buy this telescope and mount new -today it would cost over 25,000 euros with all taxes. Get this Questar 7, otherwise wait at least a year and pay over 25,000 Euros!
