The corrector was developed for astrophotography with this telescope. It reduces the focal length by a factor of 0.77x and thus increases the light intensity, the exposure time is shortened to approx. 60%. At the same time, the correction in the corners is improved so that the stars are round and pinpoint. The corrector is screwed to the focuser.
Connection of the camera:
On the camera side, the corrector has an M48x0.75 external thread and the standard working distance of 55 mm. This means that astro cameras, mirrorless system cameras and DSLRs with normal adapters can be easily connected.
