Optics

The sharpness and contrast of the image is impressive not only in the moon and planets, but star clusters are also well represented. Even at high magnifications, stars (for example, in star clusters) are sharply imaged. The objective is multi-coated. 

The Capricorn-70 gathers 36% more light than a refractor with 60 mm aperture.

Mount

The EQ-1 mount is distinguished by its high mechanical stability. It is very well dimensioned. Even at high magnifications, focusing is easy, because nothing shakes, as with cheap telescopes.

Handling

Set up and get started - this is the motto of this telescope. The telescope is always optimally adjusted and immediately ready for use. The telescope can also be operated well by children after a short guidance by the parents.

Due to the height-adjustable aluminum tripod, the telescope optimally adapts to the body size of the observer. The telescope is robustly manufactured, it also tolerates a somewhat more rustic treatment.

Many accessories

The focuser has 1,25", which offers you not only a variety of eyepieces, but also the possibility of astrophotography. The mount can be complemented with a motor for automatically following the stars.
