Sky-Watcher sunshade, perfectly suited to the Skyliner 250P Flextube Dobsonian telescopes.

An extremely useful accessory, specially designed to seal the OTA’s open truss tube body when the telescope has been extended for observation. It prevents light from entering the optical path, thereby enhancing contrast and preventing dust and condensation from forming on the mirrors.

The lens hood is made from polyester fabric with a black, velvety interior surface, which prevents internal reflections. The fabric is slightly elastic, allowing it to mould perfectly to the contours of the telescope tube. Both ends of the light shield are fitted with adjustable cords, and it can also be secured along its length to the tube using Velcro strips. Furthermore, two sturdy struts have been integrated along the length of the light shield to keep it in shape and allow it to be easily wrapped around the telescope without getting tangled.

The telescope, including the eyepiece and viewfinder, and the front protector are not included in the scope of delivery!
