This Sky-Watcher SynCam 533C amateur astronomy camera is a highly compact, passively cooled color CMOS camera with a resolution of 9.04 megapixels, equipped with the proven square Sony IMX533 sensor featuring 3.76μm square pixels.

Its primary application is in high-resolution planetary photography as well as photography of the Sun’s and Moon’s surfaces. However, with its extremely low readout noise and no amplifier glow, it can also deliver perfect results for beginners in deep-sky photography of galaxies and nebulae. Using stacking or live stacking with compatible software, detailed, low-noise results can be achieved.

Thanks to its compact design, light weight, and small dimensions, it is an ideal partner for the Sky-Watcher HAX125DX Honders Miniastrograph, as a larger camera would be oversized and obstruct the telescope aperture. The black housing design prevents unwanted reflections.

The SynCam 533C camera is fully compatible with the software ecosystem of ToupTek Astronomy Inc. and is supported by a wide range of astrophotography applications and control software.
