The eyepiece offers a field of view of 42° to 65° and is designed as a wide angle, providing a large field of view for nebulae, deep sky objects and landscape observations. At the same time, it delivers a sharp and high-contrast image of the moon and planets. Thanks to the zoom function, there is no need to change the eyepiece: the magnification can be conveniently adjusted from 7.2 mm to 21.6 mm, allowing you to select the optimum magnification for the object you are observing at any given time.

The high-quality optical design made of glass with high transmission, consisting of a 7-element/4-group lens structure, ensures razor-sharp, clear and high-contrast images. Blackened lens edges and anti-reflective threads minimise stray light and maximise contrast. With a long eye relief of 18 to 20 mm, the eyepiece is also ideal for spectacle wearers and allows comfortable observation without restricting the field of view.
