With f/5.9 and a focal length of 355 mm, the FS-60CB is very small and compact. For transport, the tube can be disassembled to a length of 25 cm (without the screw adapter on the focuser). This makes the FS-60CB the ideal travel telescope when space is limited. At the same time, you have an extreme rich field telescope with a field of view of over 7 degrees. The range of useful magnifications extends from 9x to 120x and, in some cases, even beyond. The FS-60CB delivers the same perfect image quality with pinpoint stars that you know and love from its larger siblings.
For photography, there is a 0.72x reducer that increases the light intensity from f/5.9 to f/4.4. With the resulting focal length of 264 mm, the FS-60CB then becomes a fast telephoto lens. Alternatively, you can also get the pure image field flattener, which slightly increases the focal length to 374 mm (f/6.2). To increase the focal length, there is a 2x extender. With all these options, the FS-60CB becomes an extremely versatile refractor.
