Telescopes for beginners

🎄APM Telescopes is a German specialist retailer of high-quality telescopes, binoculars and astronomical accessories. The company is particularly well known for its high-quality refracting telescopes and its partnerships with renowned manufacturers.

APM also offers a range of telescopes for beginners, providing a good introduction to stargazing. Smaller refracting telescopes with apertures of 70 to 80 mm are particularly popular. They are easy to use, require little maintenance and produce sharp images of the Moon, planets and bright deep-sky objects.

The following are particularly suitable for beginners:

• Compact refracting telescopes as easily transportable travel telescopes.
• Newtonian telescopes on Dobsonian mounts, if you’re looking for as large an aperture as possible for a reasonable price.

APM’s entry-level telescopes are characterised by their robust mechanical construction and good optical quality. Anyone wishing to enjoy astronomy in the long term will find instruments here that continue to impress even after the first few years of observation.
