It captures stunning images of faint deep-sky objects at the touch of a button and transmits them to your smartphone or tablet. The images captured in seconds look better than what you would see by eye through the eyepiece of a much larger telescope under much darker skies.
  Revolutionary RASA optics: With the patented 6-inch Rowe-Ackermann Schmidt Astrograph (RASA), the Origin is a smart telescope with a difference. With its large aperture and fast f/2.2 focal ratio, it produces photos with much greater detail and shorter exposure times than previously possible.
• Next-generation 678C camera: Equipped with Sony´s latest Starvis 2 color CMOS technology, the Origin 678C offers higher resolution, improved sensitivity, and a noticeable leap in image quality compared to the first generation of the Celestron Origin - Intelligent Home Observatory with the IMX178C sensor.
• EAA - AI-powered Electronically Aided Astronomy: As Origin acquires data, built-in AI algorithms autonomously stack and process each image in real time. Galaxies and nebulae instantly come to life - sharp, detailed and in brilliant color - without user intervention.
• Automated setup with StarSense: Set up the Origin outside in the open air, switch it on and connect it to the app. With Celestron´s patented StarSense technology, the telescope pop scans the sky and focuses automatically. Within less than two minutes, you are ready to select a target and start capturing images.
• Intuitive app interface: The user-friendly Celestron Origin app for iOS and Android, developed in partnership with Simulation Curriculum, the makers of SkySafari, provides a simple yet powerful planetarium interface that makes it easy to navigate the sky and control the system.
• Share the images with anyone: multiple users can simultaneously view the telescope´s live feed via the Origin app. You can also broadcast the view to your smart TV or save and share instantly.
  Advanced astrophotography: If you want to do the image processing yourself, simply download the raw image files you have taken to a USB stick. You can also experiment with nebula filters such as the nebula filter for Origin Intelligent Home Observatory, or use the Origin for terrestrial observations during the day. Autoguiders and polar wedges for longer exposure times are available separately.
