ARTEC astrographs employ optics that match the mechanical precision of the instrument. Key specifications include:
- Reflectivity greater than 95%
- Surface correction of λ/8 or better
- Strehl ratio of 0.95 or higher

The 140 mm f/6.5 triplet apochromat convinces with a pure color image and a powerful 4" RAP focuser.
