The history of this manufacturer of telescopes and accessories begins in the late seventies. Al Nagler, an optical designer and amateur astronomer, founded the company TeleVue. Although it started small, the company quickly developed into one of the leading manufacturers in this field.
TeleVue is particularly well known for its eyepieces. The Nagler, Delos and Ethos series are considered some of the best eyepieces on the market for astronomical equipment. The new DeLite series also offers high quality eyepieces at an affordable price, ideal for those on a budget.

The Nagler Type 7 series was developed as a natural extension of our highly regarded, 85°, limited edition Apollo 11 eyepiece. However, the series can also be thought of as an extension of the long eye relief Nagler Type 4 concept. With the all-new Type 7 design layout, we achieved our goal of Apollo 11-like performance across a series of focal lengths that are eyeglass friendly.
