Each filter works out specific details by transmitting only specific parts of the visual spectrum. As a result the contrast of these details is boosted for better visibility. Minimum aperture is 50 mm.
The light-yellow filter reduces false colour in Fraunhofer refractors and is a nice universal contrast filter, especially for moon, mars and comets.
