With many telescopes, the focal plane is somewhat further out, so that a photographic application is also possible. However, the problem then arises that certain eyepieces can no longer be focused. This is only one of the problems solved by the 2" extension sleeves. These sleeves bridge the optical path, allowing the focuser to be in a relatively normal position.

The extension sleeves have a very high quality of workmanship. On the outside, the sleeves are black anodized and on the inside they have additional ribbing to prevent reflection.

Each extension sleeve has a screw-in thread for 2" filters at the bottom. In addition, each extension has a locking groove, this prevents accidental falling out when the clamping screw is slightly loose.

The clamping of the 2" extension sleeves is done by a clamping ring. Tilting even of heavy accessories is not possible.

The length of the 2" extension tube is not included in the "optical path", since it disappears in the 2" focuser, for example.
