This adapter combination is assembled for you by Teleskop Service. It allows integrating 1.25" filters to T2 connections if there is very little space available.
The adapter has a female T2-thread at the telescope side and a male T2-thread at the camera side. It works like a 10 mm long T2-extension, but has an additional female thread for 1.25" filters.
The filter itself is integrated in the adapter free of stress, even heavy accessories can be attached.
A few examples of use for the T2 filter holder:
- With the adapter T2-EOSS, you get an T2-adapter for Canon EOS cameras with integrated filter thread - suitable for all T2-connectors, with an optical path of only 9 mm.
- There is no shorter way to integrate 1.25" filters into a T2 connection - ideal for astrophotography with CCD cameras if there is only little space.
- With the adapter, you can use 1.25" filters with binoviewers with T2-thread connection.
