Vixen flip mirror for 2" systems
With an enhanced aluminum coating giving 96% reflectivity, this diagonal has much to offer. Attach this diagonal to your telescope via a 2" threaded barrel that accepts 48 mm filters.
This diagonal allows use of the flip mirror to change between its standard 90 degree 1.25" eyepiece or the multi purpose eyepiece/photography port straight through, yielding 100% transmission.
This port not only fits many photo adapters but also unthreads to a standard 42 mm T-thread.
Please note:
Because of the back focus of 65 mm, this article is not suitable for most Newtonians.
Connections:
- Telescope side: 2" (fits into all 2" focusers)
- Eyepiece and camera end have both a T2 thread with reducer to 1.25".
- Optical length is 65 mm (without 2" nosepiece). The 1.25" reducers have a length of 55 mm each; we offer
