High performance flattener/reducer for the large William Apo refractors GranTurismo GT102 (only with 3" focuser), FluoroStar FLT132 and GranTurismo GT153. The flattener has a triplet APO design and is equipped with glass surfaces from Ohara. It levels the field of view even for full-frame sensors and at the same time acts as a reducer with a focal length reduction by a factor of 0.72x. In practice, exposure times are shortened and the image field can be illuminated up to full format. By rotating the flattener, it can be individually adjusted to the optimal focus position. It is therefore suitable for various camera types, from (full-frame) DSLRs to CCDs and CMOS.

Other accessories, such as filters, extension sleeves or filter wheels can be easily combined with the William Optics Flattener. The reducer/flattener has a recessed M48 filter thread to accept 2" filters.

The respective backfocus is:

• GT102 = 67.1mm

A field of view of 44.4mm in diameter is corrected and illuminated.
