On the evening of August 12, 2026, an extraordinary celestial event is on the horizon: A total solar eclipse will pass over parts of Europe—though not over Germany.
Here in Germany, we will experience an impressive partial eclipse, which will nonetheless offer a rare and spectacular sight. Germany will be entirely within the Moon’s penumbra. As a result, the sun will not be completely, but clearly and visibly “nibbled away.”

The corrector fits to the 2" receptacle of the focuser, it corrects the image field for astrophotography
- Suitable for refractor telescopes up to 102 mm aperture or smaller (ED, apo, achromat... )
- Connection telescope side 2" barrel with filter thread
- Connection camera side M48x0.75 thread
- Working distance from M48 thread to camera sensor is 55 mm
- No shortening factor, the focal length of the refractor is not changed

The 4" corrector and reducer is designed for the large 180mm f/7 Triplet APO and allows astrophotography with full frame cameras at the highest level.
- Improves the focal ratio from f/7 to f/5.6 and reduces the focal length of the apo to 1008 mm
- Full illumination and correction up to full frame
- Working distance is 55 mm from the M48 connection thread
- The corrector is screwed to the focuser of the apo
