Specially designed for the Sky-Watcher Skymax-200DX Maksutov Cassegrain, the Focal Reducer/Flattener consists of two lenses and has a reduction factor of 0.7x, resulting in a fast telescope with an aperture ratio of f/7. The reducer is equipped with a standard M48 thread and has a back focus of 55 mm for use with the Sky-Watcher M48 to Canon EOS (No. 20237) and Nikon (No. 20238) adapter rings. The reducer/flattener produces a fully illuminated and corrected image field of 30 mm, making it suitable for image formats up to APS-C, but it can also be used for full-frame with some limitations.
